Overseas students in ^ UK

According to the survey of “UUK” [what's this?], the number of overseas students in UK universities is twice than the past ten years and Chinese students constitute the majority. The follow are some reasons which lead to this tendency.

Devaluation of pound is one of the most important reason. The Finacial crisis made the exchange rate of pound lower. It means the cost of studing UK can be reduced by 50 thousands to 10 thousands RMB.

The fist-class education system of Britain is attracting more and more Chinese students. Britain hold an important position not only in Science and Technology but also Finance and Fashion field . There are lots os different spacial field of study in UK, Students can choose their own subjects whatever they want in UK university.

Shorter terms is a main cause as well. In general, students can get a diploma in three years and a master degree for just one year while ^ 3 to 4 years in other countries. It means students can save time and money if they study in ^ UK.

However, there must be lots of difficulties for overseas students especially for Chinese students. In the aspect of residence, students can face some troubles to adapt to the new environment. Dorm is different from their home, they should learn how to get along with any kind of people, share kithen and share bathroom, these kind of interperonsal skill is necessary. Then, for food, students of China need to cater ^ themself if they do not used to eating western food. Finally, it will also bring them some promblems if students unfamilliar the local transportation,such as some important facilities, they might not find supermarket,shopping mall and bank as well.

Aforementioned these factors, I think studing UK will be meaningful, overseas students can learn a lot from here. Although there must be lots of difficulties in life, this is a chance to train yourself after all.
